Themes for a grey day music review

http://www.newagemusicreviews.net/2014/09/new-agechill-instrumental-review-7and5.html
According to the review, Themes for a Grey Day is "uplifting and refreshing as cool rain drops hitting your face on a steamy hot July afternoon".  The article says that the soundtrack is mainly just a mix of different sounds combined to make a person "chill".  This shows that the music has a connection to science to to the sounds helping to make a person mellow.  The only thing I truly do not understand is how? How does it take the instruments, combine certain chords, and create something that manages to change the way you feel? I believe it is a scientific miracle.  The fact that the article is so well written, and a review, it is also connected into literature.  It very much interests me that music has enough layers in it to touch someone so dearly like it did to the person in the article. I'd like to know how the music would affect me.

  1. Music affects me in every way possible. A song can be slow, smooth, beautiful or daring but each one gives me a different feeling. Its funny because if I'm in a certain mood i know which song or type of song will put me in a better mood. I've seen a video on, why you get chills from music, and it mentions how the feel of excitement or fear you get from a piece causes a certain feeling. Being in band, i understand how a person can make such an emotion with just music. One of my all time favorite pieces is Nuvole Bianche by Ludivo Einheart.
I really cant explain how much I love music.
